Now taking internship applications for Spring/Summer 2012:

Architecture:

RoboFold is offering two intern places from April-May-June and July-Aug-Sept.

We require experienced recent graduates or post-grad students who are experts at computational and generative design, digital fabrication, and material investigation. Experience in Rhino and Grasshopper is necessary.

You will be working directly with the founder and other members of the design and production team to create new projects and realise commissions. Products will range from furniture to facades and unique artworks.

Expenses are paid.

Graphic Communication:

RoboFold is offering internship placements from April-May-June and July-Aug-Sept.

We require experienced recent graduates or post-grad students who are experts at communicating new ideas in un-expected ways to grab audiences.

You will be working directly with the founder and other members of the design and sales team to create a limited edition look-book, web media and print media.

Expenses are paid.

Engineer:

RoboFold is offering an internship from June-July-Aug-Sept.

We require experienced recent graduates or post-grad students who are experts in the fields of manufacturing - including mechanical engineering, mechatronics, and software. They should have hands on experience using CNC fabrication equipment and solid modelling software to plan and build.

You will be working directly with the founder and other members of the research and development team to build new technology for the RoboFold system.

Expenses are paid.

Business Development:

RoboFold is offering an internship from April-May-June.

We require recent graduates or post-grad students from a business school who have real world experience in start-ups in the selling our products and services through to the fields of art, design and  architecture.

You will be working directly with the founder and other members of sales, R&D and board to plan and implement expansion strategies.

Expenses are paid.

IP:

RoboFold is offering an internship from April-May-June.

We require experienced recent graduates or post-grad students who are experts at patent law in the fields of manufacturing - including mechanical engineering, mechatronics, and software. They should have previously been through the process of filing patents.

You will be working directly with the founder and other members of the research and development team to devise and implement patent portfolio strategies for the RoboFold technology.
